Are the Americans
such an ignorant people that they need a parent to watch over us? To dictate to
us what our rights are? Take the seat belt laws. There are 48 states with
various laws dictating that we need to wear a seat belt while driving or get
fined. We get fined for not
protecting ourselves. Has this nation gotten so child-like in its ability to
not touch fire that we need fines for it? There is no harm to others if we don’t
use a seat belt. “It’s for your own safety” is a term a parent uses for a
child.
